Bethsheba Johnson is board certified as a gerontological nurse practitioner, and actively lectures across the country to medical professionals, schools, churches and persons living with HIV/AIDS. She is the former Executive Director of Luck Care Center, an HIV clinic, and has volunteered with the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative. As a nurse practitioner she has partnered with her patients to medically manage their health care and acted as a sub-investigator for clinical trials both AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) studies and those through pharmaceutical companies at AIDS Arms, Incorporated/Peabody Health Center in Dallas, TX until July 2011.
